TOUR OF PROVENCE (MARSEILLE TO NICE)
MARSEILLE TO NICE
6 day ride through Provence taking in Mont Ventoux on Day Three and several gorges throughout the ride. All the delights of the region combined with epic cycling on quiet smooth roads.
We meet at Marseille airport for a 10 minute transfer to our start hotel and briefing for the week. We head out around the massive lake du Buerre before crossing the Luberon national park into Bedoin. Mont Ventoux is cycled from this town with the chance to rest up by the pool in the afternoon. The next day we enter the gorges de la Neste before crossing the alpes de haute provence. There are still the delights of the Verdon before finishing in the pretty medieval village of Vence. A charming place to celebrate the week
before a 20 minute transfer to Nice airport the following day.
