6 days of riding, 331 miles with 9,427m of climbing and 10,599m of descent. Average of 55 miles per day.

 

Take on the climbs make famous by the Tour De France and revel in the twisty descents before leaving the Alpes behind and cruising through luscious meadow lands before arriving at Nice feeling epic and ready to party.

 

The route has been designed so that you get ample time to enjoy the experience by taking long lunch breaks, the obligatory coffee stop and time each evening to enjoy our hand picked hotels that range from Lakeside at Annecy to a Castle in the mountains.

Route des Alpes

(Geneva to Nice)

Upon arrival at Geneva airport you will be met by a representative from our partner transfer company.

 

After a short transfer, you will arrive at our Alpine chalet.

 

A welcome meal with wine is provided allowing riders to meet the tour leader and each other.

 

A full tour briefing takes place after the welcome meal in readyness for the grand depart the following morning.

 

The day starts with a relaxed breakfast.

 

Coffee and Lunch stops taken each day.

 

Every evening there will be a briefing of the next day's ride

 

We plan to celebrate your arrival in Nice with a glass of sparkly and a dip in the Mediterranean Sea.

 

Celebrations continue into the evening in Nice old town before a free transfer to the airport the

following day or stay longer if you wish.

  • Extra clothing if cold.

  • Reduce clothing if warm.

  • Additional water.

  • Snacks from your snack bag.

 

Carries spare free issue inner tubes (700 by 23 mm Presta standard valve only).

 

Carries some spare brake blocks (issued free if they fit) - some long descents!

 

Carries basic tool kit, track pump, bike stand.

 

Can hop in at any time (subject to availability of seats).
